Email [email protected] and we'll get back to you within two business days. A real person reads every message.
It helps to include the email address on your account and, if something looks wrong with a specific article or feed, a link to it.
Managing your subscription
Where you cancel depends on where you subscribed — these are two separate systems and each can only be managed in its own place.
- Subscribed on your iPhone? Your subscription is billed by Apple. Manage or cancel it in the Settings app on your iPhone — tap your name, then Subscriptions. We can't cancel or change an App Store subscription for you.
- Subscribed on the web? Manage or cancel it any time from your Quirl account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Either way, your subscription renews automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel whenever you like.
Refunds
Purchases made in the iOS app are handled entirely by Apple — request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no ability to issue refunds for App Store purchases.
Web subscriptions are non-refundable, but you can cancel any time and keep access through the end of your paid period. The 7-day free trial is there so you can decide before you're charged. If something went genuinely wrong, email us anyway — we'd rather hear about it.
Restoring a purchase
Signed in on a new iPhone and Quirl isn't showing your subscription? Tap Restore Purchases on the subscription screen in the app. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with — a purchase can't move between Apple Accounts.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from your account settings, on the web or in the iOS app. It removes your account and personal data; see the Privacy Policy for what we retain and why.
If Apple bills your subscription, cancel it in your iPhone's Settings first. Deleting your Quirl account does not cancel an App Store subscription, and Apple will keep billing you until you cancel it there.
A feed or article looks wrong
Feeds are fetched on a schedule, so a brand-new article can take a little while to appear. If a feed has stopped updating entirely, or a summary looks off, email us the feed or article link and we'll look into it.
Summaries are generated automatically and can occasionally get something wrong — every post links to the original article, and that's always the authority. See the Terms for more on how we use AI.
Email and password trouble
Not receiving your newsletter or a password reset? Check your spam folder and allow mail from [email protected], which is the address our mail is sent from. You can reset your password from the sign-in page.
To stop receiving the newsletter, turn it off in your account settings — your account stays active and you keep full access to your feed.
